Year 12 students took part in a national competition at Liverpool Crown Court on Saturday. The Bar National Mock Trial is one of the Year 12 Enrichment options on offer to St Hilda’s College students. Students took roles as barristers, witnesses, court clerk, jurors and even court reporters to prosecute and defend 2 cases in front of real judges and QCs. We won 2 of our heats and the students gained so much confidence and knowledge about the judicial system.
We are very proud of the team!
Our open evening will take place on Wednesday 29th November 2017, 6:00pm – 8:30pm.
There will be talks by the Headteacher and the Head of College. Heads of Departments and Subject Teachers will be giving an overview of their subjects throughout the evening.
