Congratulations to Abigail Eaton and Sarah Kneale and other Year 13 students who raised a magnificent £150 for the Police and High sheriff’s Charitable Fund by holding a cake sale on Friday 20th September 2019. This was well supported by many students who enjoyed the variety of cakes on sale.

Message from Abi:
“The bake sale was in aid of the Police and High sheriff’s Charitable Fund, which 23 charities applied for this year! We were instructed to collect sponsors for a 10 mile walk we did last Saturday, and I made the decision to raise it by way of bake sale, as they always seem to do well in our school especially. We raised a total of around £150, which will go to the High Sheriff to be given to most of the charities that applied. We were all very lucky on Saturday, as our walk commenced upon the drawing of the High Sheriff’s sword by the High Sheriff himself”.
