Congratulations to Emily Moore in Year 13. Emily successfully applied for a Nuffield Research Placement. Her application was clearly of a high standard as places are limited and competition is fierce. She worked with three other students from local schools on a project of their choice. They worked on various projects as part of “The Electronics and Engineering Landscape”. This included designing and creating a DIY AR Sandbox. Emily spent four weeks of her summer holidays working with her peers and mentors from Liverpool University. She showcased her projects at the Nuffield Research Placement Celebration Evening on Wednesday 16th October 2019 at Liverpool University. Her commitment and hard work as well as her engineering skills are commendable.
